We recommend only the use of food grade substances for use on our cutting boards since they will be in contact with food. We use Howard Products Cutting Board Cleaner, Cutting Board Oil, and Butcher Block Conditioner after engraving. Information on their products can be found here: Howard Products

We recommended you oil your cutting board every month or when dry to the touch. Board conditioner or cream should be applied at the same time as oiling.

TIP: If your board has stains or smells, you can use lemon juice or white vinegar directly on the area. The acid in these liquids will neutralize the organic material causing the problem.

WARNING: Cutting of raw food on an engraved surface can trap bacteria and be difficult to clean. Therefore, laser engraved cutting boards should be used for decorative purposes or for serving prepared food only.
